Live Sessions: The GARD Forum conducts live video sessions via Zoom. As these sessions are broadcast in real-time, they are neither moderated nor edited. Participation is based on trust and professionalism. The GARD Forum is not responsible for any harm or damage caused during participation, including but not limited to exposure to inappropriate, offensive, or inflammatory content.

Personal Opinions: The views shared in these sessions, whether by speakers, moderators, or participants, represent personal opinions and do not constitute professional advice. These opinions belong solely to the individuals expressing them and do not reflect the views of the GARD Forum or its sponsors. While participants are encouraged to act professionally and avoid any discriminatory behavior, the GARD Forum will step in to prevent further incidents if any such behavior occurs, including removing or banning participants from future events in serious cases.

Content Sharing: Any individual sharing content must ensure they are not infringing on any copyrights. The GARD Forum is not liable for copyright violations but will take action to prevent further breaches, which may result in restricted access for violators.

Platform Responsibility: The GARD Forum cannot be held accountable for the performance of Zoom or the reliability of the internet connection required to participate. Online events may also be susceptible to external interference or hacking.

Help Desk and Troubleshooting

Initial Troubleshooting:

  • Try refreshing your browser.

  • If possible, switch to an alternate browser. Google Chrome is recommended for the best experience.

No Sound:

  • Ensure your speakers are on, and both your device and Zoom audio are turned up.

  • If using headphones, unplug them to check for sound.

  • For ongoing audio issues, contact support@gcssummit.org.

Video Issues:

  • Video playback problems, such as stuttering or buffering, are often caused by poor internet connections.

  • If using Wi-Fi, try switching to a wired connection.

  • If that doesn’t help, try using your mobile device’s data.

  • For persistent video problems, reach out to support@gcssummit.org.

Browser Compatibility:

  • Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge are recommended for optimal performance. Ensure your organization's security settings do not block pop-ups. Alternatively, the event can be accessed on tablets or smartphones.

Audio Echoing:

  • Echoes are usually caused by having multiple windows or tabs open. Close them and, if the problem persists, restart the virtual platform in a new window.

Joining a Live Session: To join, click the link provided by the host or in your registration confirmation. If you're prompted, enter the meeting/webinar ID and join through the Zoom Desktop Client or Mobile App. Enter your name and email if asked, then click "Join Webinar."

If the host hasn’t started the webinar yet, you’ll see a message asking you to wait. Be sure to check the date, time, and time zone of the session.

Live Q&A: To ask a question during live Q&A:

  • Click "Ask a Question."

  • Type your question in the provided box and tap send.
